Shail foundation has been set up by educationist and social crusader CA Sunil G. Karve in the memory of his mother Smt. Shailaja G Karve. Incorporated in the following year of her demise, 2012 with an objective to empower under privileged children and provide them with the resources required for their education.

Shail foundation today supports over 600 students every year and provides for every requirement of their education including school fees, study material, uniform etc. and their health care . Our efforts with schools from underprivileged backgrounds have borne fruits. Students supported by the Shail Foundation have improved their performance by over 20%. There has been a significant reduction in school dropout rate among the schools we work with.
